Our educational approach here at Southeast Tech is a blend of theory and practice, providing a solid foundation for your career. Southeast Technical offers a practical, personal approach to learning the principles of accounting and making the best use of a variety of popular accounting software packages. Accounting sofware changes from time to time; laws pertaining to accounting practice - especially tax laws - change seemingly by the minute; but the basic, core principles of accounting provide a strong foundation and build a solid skill base. You can begin this building process in either Fall or Spring semester, attending classes on a full-time or part-time basis. Most of our courses meet during daytime hours in the traditional classroom; however, we do offer some evening and online courses as well. Once you have your degree in hand, you'll find that the opportunities for meaningful and challenging employment are plentiful in companies of all sizes. Instructors

• Tony Fritz earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and his Master of Business Administration from Winona State University. He has public, private and tax accounting experience.
• Jill Halverson has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration – both from Winona State University. She has expertise in the areas of public, private, tax, auditing, and non-profit accounting.
• Lyle Stelter received his Accounting diploma from Minnesota West Technical College and has a Bachelor of Science in Vocational Education from Bemidji State University. Lyle has public, private, tax, and non-profit accounting experience.
• Patti Weigand holds a license as a CPA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Education and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from UW-Eau Claire. She also has a Master of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch College. Patti has experience in corporate management accounting, cost accounting, and general ledger accounting.
