You can use it for word processing, sending e-mail to teacher and classmates, gathering information from libraries and other resources around the world, developing class presentations, generating spreadsheets and creating an electronic portfolio or your best work to show when you begin to seek employment. With this kindof experience, you will be better prepared for any career you may undertake following graduation.
You can post messages to your professors; request updates of assistance; receive class lecture notes and assignments; take notes to class; ask questions or contribute comments to professors or other class members; connect to the Internet to conduct research; and submit complete assignments. Some classes may use special software or other electronic resources in addition to textbooks.

All students will attend a care and use orientation session when they receive their computer. Short courses and workshops will be offered for anyone seeking further training or additional assistance.
A Help Desk staffed by ITS professionals are available to solve problems and answer questions. The Help Desk will do whatever is necessary to manage minor repairs and service, as well as exchange computers in need of more serious repairs. The student is responsible to insure the laptop computer for damage or loss. The student will be required to reimburse the college up to $500 if their computer is damaged or loss.
The current configuration being offered will be sufficient for coursework in any of the three programs: Accounting, Administrative, or Computer Careers.
A MAC address is a unique 12-digit alphanumeric value identifying your wireless network card. It is typically printed on the card but can also be found with software tools installed on your computer.
