Southeast offers many classes via Interactive Television. ITV entails two-way audio/visual communication between an instructor at one site, and learners at another site through the means of television. By this method, Southeast instructors can offer classes to other remote sites without requiring students to make a lengthy drive. This method of long distance education invites students to participate in educational opportunities that they normally wouldn't have.

Operating Procedure

  1. To schedule: Call Calli Ekblad in Red Wing @ 651-385-6320 OR Mary Donlin in Winona @ 507-453-2740 to schedule a room at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
  2. To view schedule: Go to Outlook public folder under all public folder click on ITV calendar folder.
  3. 10 minutes before the meeting/class, the instructor or meeting chair should be in the ITV room to confirm the system is set as desired.
  4. After the session is over:
    1. The users should reset the system to the default setting and turn off the system.
