WS_FTP Pro is defined as "shareware", meaning you may be asked to pay for it when you download it. We recommend downloading WS_FTP LE (32-bit). Should you need instructions for WS_FTP LE, please Click here.
If you have already downloaded WS_FTP Pro, please refer to the instructions below.
To use
- Open the WS_FTP Pro, click on the connect button on the bottom left-hand side of the program.
- In host name type the address of the program you are associated with (ftp.southeastmn.edu). Put in your southeast domain\username as the user ID and the password associated with this account as the password. Please use all lower case letters for both the user name and password.
- Once connected you will be able to move files from your local system to the remote system and also from the remote to the local.
- When you have completed your session click on the exit button and this will end your connection to the server.
