- Insert the floppy disk into the disk drive on the right-hand side of the laptop.
- Double-click on My Computer.
- Right-click on the A: icon. A popup menu will appear.
- Select Format.
- Choose "Full" to format a new disk, or "Quick" to simply erase disk. Press Start.
