Clearing Your Browser Cache

Almost all browsers keep a local copy of web pages and other related items on your hard drive (cache file) to make reloading previously visited pages from the internet much faster. The drawback to this is, when there are new pages or changes to a page on the site your computer will go to the cache first to recall the page. So, you might be viewing a page that has many changes on it since your last visit, but you're still looking at the old page version from you cache.

By clearing your cache and setting it to check for newer page versions on each visit, not only will you see the most recent pages updated on that site, but you will free up some memory and your computer will run must faster and smoother while surfing the internet.
